Warren E. Huff

I was entered into Equity Lodge 591 in July 1994, passed in December 1994 and raised in January 1995.

I was admitted into the Philadelphia Lodge of Perfection of the Scottish Rite in February 1996, the DeJoinvilleville Council of Princes of Jerusalem in March 1996, and raised to the 32 Degree in the Benjamin Franklin Consistory in April 1996.

In the York Rite I received my Mark Master Degree in University R. A. Chapter 256 in January 1997, my Most Excellent Master Degree in February 1997 and became a Royal Arch Mason in April 1997. I became the last King of University R.A. Chapter 256 when it merged with Temple Melita R.A. Chapter in July 2001, where I remain a Companion.

Since 1982 I have been the instructor for the course “The Architecture of Cities” at the Hope College Philadelphia Center of the Great Lakes College Association.

I have retired as the Deputy Executive Director of the Philadelphia City Planning Commission where I had also been the Director of Urban Design and Senior Planner for Center City.

I was Chairman of the Advisory Board of Design at the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority and served as a member of the Philadelphia Historic Commission and its Designation Committee. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Design and a Master’s Degree in Community Design from the Philadelphia College of Art at the University of Art.
